TEAM ZYVAX WINS IN THE WEST
Team Zyvax takes 1st and 2nd overall at Miller Motorsports Park WERA National 6 Hour Endurance race
Kennesaw, Georgia, May 26, 2010 – Team Zyvax riders Ben Bostrom, Chris Clark and guest rider Eric Bostrom rode their Graves Motorsports prepped Yamaha R1 to victory with an impressive 175 laps at the WERA National Endurance race at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah on May 22nd. To make the win even sweeter, the Bostroms and Clark set a new Miller/WERA Endurance track record (Ben Bostrom – 152.7).
The YZF Yamaha R6 proved its valor against the larger cc machines as Dane Westby, Clinton Seller and guest rider “Mr. Daytona” Scott Russell won a hard fought battle for 2nd place overall on their Team Zyvax / Graves Motorsports supported Yamaha R6.
Team owner JB Layman was ecstatic with rider and crew performance. About the endurance race Layman stated, “Our R6 riders Dane and Clinton continuously improved their lap times throughout the day. On the last stint, Dane broke our best time on lap 161, of 170 laps. This demonstrates the superiority of the Graves Motorsports prepped motorcycles, holding sustainable performance to the end of six hours. Both guest riders got up to speed very quickly, and were instrumental in the success of the race. That’s great racing!”
