Flex-Z 2.0 was used to alleviate a troublesome pre-release problem affecting the production of this manufacturer’s hull production.  While pre-release was an issue in the production of large parts, difficult to pull small parts were being plagued with stress cracks & other unacceptable defects.  Flex-Z 5.0 was introduced to eliminate these issues resulting in a 50% net reduction in rework.  

It is of general consensus by all in the shop, that the use of the Flex-Z Slipcoat System was an obvious improvement to the previous products.
