Tank Manufacturer Doubles Number of Parts....

A large tank manufacturer in Texas was experiencing heavy styrene & wax build up requiring them to pull the molds out of production after only 15 parts.

Zyvax was asked to perform a demonstration using the Flex-Z product family.  The objective was to achieve labor savings and reduce lost time due to molds being out of service to be stripped and repaired.  By making the switch to Zyvax Flex-Z Slipcoat System, the manufacturer was able to double the number of parts pulled thus reducing the labor associated for mold maintenance.  They also found improved surface finish.  See more info on Flex-Z Slipcoat System.
