Silver Bullet Uses Zyvax

The University of Nevada, Reno chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the 2006 Human Powered Vehicle Team would like to thank you for the generous donation of your mold preparation system. The Waterclean , Sealer GP, and Enviroshield combination is by far the best composite release system we have used for our projects. This year, the team entered "Silver Bullet" into the Human Powered Vehicle Challenge held at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. The vehicle was entered in two separate categories. The first category, Utility, tests the vehicle's practicality as an everyday commuting/utility vehicle. Of the nine competing teams, UNR placed 2nd in design, 2nd in the race, and 2nd overall. The second category entered, Single Rider, tests the vehicle's and the team's speed and endurance capabilities. Of the 24 teams entered in this category, UNR placed 10th in design, 4th in speed (41.3 mph), 8th in endurance, and 7th overall. We are very satisfied with these results and realize our successful performance is a direct result of the support from our sponsors. Thank you again for your generous support. It is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Kevin Tibbs 2006 UNR HPV Team Leader
